Hey people!
I know, I know. It's been a super long time since we last updated this blog on CG events in KT. The last update was in November 2008 and we are now already almost halfway thru February 2009. Hehe. Please excuse this delay as we have all been busy with finals and recently, trying to adjust to new postings: Surgery, Orthopaedics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Anyways, we praise and thank God for bringing us thru the year 2008 and our first semester here in KT. We are really looking forward to the juniors joining us very very soon in July! Yay!
This week, we will be having a special occasion at CG. No, no, we are not celebrating Valentine's Day, but in conjunction with it, we are having CG APPRECIATION DAY! What is CG APPRECIATION DAY? Well, it is a day where we all get together and just love and appreciate one another and have a good time of fellowship and feilo-ship with each other :D
In this one week leading up to APPRECIATION DAY, angels please do not forget to pamper and love your mortals! Also, all 3 groups please do not forget that you are supposed to prepare 3 dishes and 1 dessert each! Do let May Vern know what dishes you are preparing ASAP so that every group does not turn up with the same dish :)
This week will also be having a short time of prayer, so please come with hearts prepared to pray for our nation, our families, our churches, our community, our university and each other. Juniors, we know that your final exam is coming up and we will definitely keep you guys in prayer. We know how its like because we have been through it, and we know how stressful and discouraging the whole process can be, but let us trust in our Saviour and Redeemer, who by His grace will bring all of you through!
So, let's get together this Friday (13th of February 2009) to say:
